How to choose

Scan or clean? Some apps only report findings and leave the editing to you. ThemeMedic removes the code after confirmation, with a backup.
Backups. Never let anything edit theme.liquid without a restorable backup. Draft-theme cleanup is the safest pattern.
Scan limits. Three scans a month is enough for a one-off audit; monitoring needs more.
Naming confusion. Theme Medic and ThemeMedic are different apps by different developers. Check the handle: theme-medic vs theme-medic-1.
